  • Every Sparkletown facility offers:

  • Each Sparkletown location may have some varying height and length restrictions and should be investigated prior to visiting if your vehicle is not deemed ‘standard’.

    In our Touch Free Automatic Wash, the following are not allowed:
    • Vehicles taller than 2.1 metres
    • Vehicles wider than 2.5 metres
    • Vehicles that sit less than 10cm to the ground.
    • Vehicles with large ladders, rack, canopies that extend the outside of the normal vehicle
    • Open bed trucks with debris, tools, or any other loose materials.
    • Open bed trucks with fuel tanks.
    • Vehicles with permanent aerials greater than 2.0m

    Please note: if any part of your vehicle (including aerials) touches the height bars on entry you should not be using the automatic wash.

    Self service bays at Sparkletown locations are generally accepting of most vehicle types including small trucks, boats, jet skis, caravans, motorbikes, and trailers – height restrictions are generally 3.4m.

    This may vary between locations, and you should contact your location manager via Google to confirm.

  • Yes, the touch free auto wash means exactly that. At no time does the equipment physically touch your car. We use the latest technology, highest quality wash soaps, and specifically treated water to ensure you leave with a sparkling clean vehicle.

    In addition, Sparkletown facilities treat their dirty water before entering the sewer, saving thousands of litres of contaminated water from entering our stormwater systems and eventually waterways. A major environmental issue with washing your vehicle by hand at home.

  • All Sparkletown locations are staffed seven days a week between 8:00am to 4:00pm.

    As a 24/7 business, we will generally get back with any after-hours queries within 48 hours.

  • The Sparkletown Express wash will get you clean and back on the road in under 7 minutes.

    The Sparkletown Deluxe Wash will have you clean and dry in under 10 minutes!

  • No matter which Sparkletown facility you are visiting, you will be able to experience the best touch free automatic wash convenience for under $25.

    Our self-service bays are economical and offer our customers the chance to get into every nook and cranny. The ten-step full clean gives our customers more than 1 minute per $1 spent. Depending on your own detailing prowess, the average customer can get in and clean the car in 10-12 minutes.

  • Our self-service Pooch Pit dog wash bays are economical at $10 per wash.

    We supply the best flea and tick treatment, shampoo, and conditioner, supplied by Fido’s, to help give your ‘best mate’ the wash they deserve. Plus, the added luxury of warm water so your pup isn’t discomforted by the weather. Be it 8am or 8pm, they will be treated to the best in self-service dog washing.

  • We offer standard and turbo vacuum machines for use, 24 hours a day. We do not offer interior shampoo or steam cleaning options for the inside of vehicles.

  • Certainly. All Sparkletown locations have the highest quality vacuums that will help get that carpet, car seats, and console clean and tidy. We also stock and recommend using Armor All protection products sold in our vending machines. For the best outcome and “new car” smell, chose from our range of Smelly Trees to keep your car smelling great.

  • Yes. It sure is. We use the highest quality soaps on the market, and these will not impact any paints or wraps (so long as these have been professionally installed).

CAR CARE

  • It depends on what locations, and how frequently customers are driving. A general rule is to wash your vehicle every 2 – 3 weeks. This will ensure dirt and grime from pollution doesn’t build up and start impacting your vehicles’ presentation and paint.

    For rural locations, where vehicles are exposed to dirt roads, mining, excessive bugs, and a higher proportion of passing heavy vehicles it becomes a requirement to visit more frequently to avoid dirt building up on the car surface.

    Salt water from coastal location and consistently travelling nearby industrial areas also present higher requirement for vehicle washing. Excessive salt water may corrode, and chemical particles from factories and nearby industry can also damage your car paint. In these cases, it’s best to wash your car weekly to increase longevity and avoid future issues.

  • Where available, park your vehicle under cover. This will limit exposure to harsh Australian sun, bird droppings, tree sap/leaves and insects which can emit an acid that will damage your car exterior.

    Any exposure to coastal locations, particularly on or nearby the beach, we strongly recommend washing as soon as convenient. Salt water may corrode your car’s underbody and paint.

    Following any road trip, your vehicle is likely to be more exposed to dirt, pollution, and insects – best to wash your car more frequently.

  • Not at all! Washing at any Sparkletown location will in fact protect your vehicles’ exterior and paint. Removing all the dirt, grime and bugs from your car preserves the colour and shine of your car’s paint for longer.

  • We generally recommend if this is the case to consult our manager on site between business hours, seven days a week. We would advise against using the wash if any of the following refers to your vehicle:
    • Previous Damage (loose molding/emblems, blistered or peeling paint, pin striping etc.)
    • Cracked Windshields
    • Aftermarket accessories such as bug shields
    • Aftermarket paint work
    • Objects on Antennas (balls, flags, etc.)
    • Power antennas that don’t lower
    • Ski and Bike Racks
    • Racing fins and large spoilers

  • If your vehicle is heavily soiled, we would recommend a quick visit in the self-service bays to remove stubborn mud or stains, and then follow up with the Touch Free Auto Wash - this will give you the best result!

  • If you have the time, and want to get into every nook and cranny, we suggest using the self-service bays. While this may take longer, the feeling of accomplishment from making your pride and joy sparkle is a feeling that is hard to beat!!

GENERAL ENQUIRIES

  • Yes. All equipment including touch free automatic car wash bays, self-service bays, vacuums, Pooch Pit dog wash and vending accept cash and card payment. Every location has a change machine that can be used for $5, $10, and $20 notes.

  • No. We are open 24/7 and all equipment can be used around the clock.

    Please drop in with your dirty car or dirty dog anytime you like!

  • Gift cards are available for purchase via our website www.sparkletown.com.au – once payment has been received and required information has been provided, please allow 1-2 weeks for delivery.

  • We don’t lock you into anything – we are a pay for service facility.

  • We take all complaints seriously. If you are at our location during manned hours, our Sparkletown management team can assist you immediately. Otherwise, please contact us via this link info@sparkletown.com.au. We will review your query and come back with a response within 48 hours.

  • We respectfully request that you do not leave negative feedback via Google and social media without first providing us with the opportunity of investigating the nature of the complaint and offering a resolution.

    First step should be to meet with the manager on site between 8am and 4pm daily, when we are staffed. If the site is unattended, please reach out via info@sparkletown.com.au. We will respond within 48 hours and provide a solution to your request.

    If the issue is urgent, please contact our management (phone number listed on Google Business), or if dangerous, please phone the Police.

  • We are a community-focussed service and are regularly assisting community groups & sporting organisations with their community engagement and fundraising.

  • We are busiest when the sun is out. Weekends are generally our busiest times, particularly Saturday morning, and Saturday and Sunday afternoons. If you wish to beat the crowds, all our sites are superbly lit and provide a safe environment for customers to visit 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We never close.

  • In the case you may have misplaced or left any valuables at a Sparkletown location, please contact the manager directly via phone available on the relevant Google home page.
